Maurice Dumit, MPT
Maurice Dumit doesn’t want his patients to see themselves as disabled. That’s why patients undergo rehabilitation in Invivo’s fitness center, where they workout along healthy members.
“The goal is to reintegrate patients into a healthy lifestyle,” he says. “Instead of focusing on where they are right now, we focus on where they will be. With that mindset, people start to get better.”
Maurice is proud of Invivo’s high continuity of treatment, which he calls a cornerstone of their model. He practices an integrated approach that includes joint manipulation, myofascial release and functional stabilization training. He often consults with Invivo’s team of health professionals practicing acupuncture, pedorthics and chiropractics.
Maurice holds a master of Physical Therapy degree from Marquette University and a bachelor of science in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His advanced training focuses on manual therapies for orthopedic and chronic pain. Maurice is also fluent in Spanish.
