Jonathan Ferris, L.Ac., MTCM
Jonathan Ferris, L.Ac., MTCM, has been practicing and studying the various modalities of Chinese medicine for the past 8 years and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Wisconsin. He has studied extensively with Douglas Bertram L.Ac., founder of Structural Elements, a highly specialized method of spinal balancing, incorporating acupuncture and hands on manual therapy; effective for treating spinal injury and optimizing the performance of athletes.
He completed a four-year Master’s program in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA where he earned special certificates in orthopedic acupuncture and tuina (Chinese massage). He has also completed an acupuncture and tuina internship program at Liaoning University in Shenyang, China.
Jonathan is a certified instructor of Jingui Golden Shield Qi Gong and I-Fit 150. He continues his studies of these systems under the direct tutelage of Dr. Don X. Zhang. These are two related, yet different practices that cultivate high levels of health and longevity. He feels passionate about teaching, and enjoys sharing methods and techniques that help people reach their potential.
When not treating patients or teaching, Jonathan continues to deepen his Qi Gong practice, enjoys traveling, participates in a variety of athletic endeavors, and loves spending time with his family, especially in nature.
