Enjoy a “lift” from Mother Nature without the complicated procedure. A moisturizing rose cleanser removes impurities before a facial steam opens pores and hydrates the skin. What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda means the Knowledge of Life and was developed alongside Yoga, its sister science, over thousands of years. It continues to be India’s traditional system of health and healing and has grown into a trusted holistic modality practiced the world over.

Ayurvedic body treatments stem from the system of seasonal rejuvenation and detoxification called Panchakarma. These treatments aim to harmonize energies of the body, bring equilibrium to the mind and rid the body of toxins. Deeply restorative, they naturally cleanse the system of excess and impurities, bringing renewed vitality and vigor. Due to the gentle nature of Ayurveda, it is safe to undergo treatments regularly in any season.

Especially useful in offering relief of minor ailments and chronic conditions, a therapeutic program consisting of a treatment series can be designed starting with a private consultation. In this way the treatments cumulatively draw out imbalances.

About the Practitioner

Heather Burkart has dedicated her life to the arts of Ayurveda and Yoga. She’s passionate about helping people feel good inside and out with a holistic approach. A registered yoga teacher of the Kripalu tradition, she is an Intern Ayurvedic Practitioner, Certified Ayurvedic Educator and Panchakarma Technician. Her Ayurvedic studies continue at Kanyakumari Ayurveda & Yoga in Glendale, Wisconsin where she also practices.
