Mom & Baby Yoga

Share the Practice of Yoga with your Little One
These classes are designed for mothers and their babies age six weeks to eight months. The practice is gentle and will invite moms to incorporate their babies into every pose. Our babies may enjoy moving with us, they may lie happily on a blanket for the entire class or they may share their personality with the entire group! No matter what your baby’s behavior, you’ll find joy in sharing the practice of yoga with your little one. Please feel free to bring your own mat, baby blanket and your baby’s favorite small toys.

Pre-registration is required for each 5-week series. A minimum of 5 participants is required for series to be held.
Restorative Yoga

Leave behind the distractions and stresses of your daily life and devote some much needed time to renewing and restoring your own sense of well-being. This meditative practice will focus on the restorative and renewing nature of yoga. It is designed to restore the nervous system and release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. Students will stay in supported poses for longer periods of time, allowing gravity to gently stretch and open the body without the effort of “doing.” Mindful, meditative and flowing vinyasa movement will be incorporated between each restorative pose to awaken and prepare the body for the next release.
This class is appropriate for students of all levels. Pre-registration is strongly recommended.
Yoga Sculpt

Yoga Sculpt will combine a Vinyasa-style flow class and light weight-training to tone, strengthen, lengthen and sculpt the entire body. Complement your regular yoga practice with this intense but easy to follow class that will definitely push your practice to the next level! Free weights, which will be provided by the teacher, will allow you to slow down and focus on your alignment, move deeper and have fun! We’ll start with a warm-up and flow into fluid variations of sun salutations as we prepare to slowly add the weights into our sequences. Increase the challenge by using heavier weights or decrease by not using them at all – remember that this is YOUR practice. We will then move towards a cool down and deep relaxation to complete our practice.
Please bring a towel and water to class. Free weights will be provided in 1lb, 2lbs, 3lbs and 5lbs. It is best for you to have previous yoga experience before adding the weights. Pre-registration recommended as space is limited.
